PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately estimating a temperature experienced by a heat transfer pipe inside a furnace of a boiler.;SOLUTION: The method is configured to: attach a temperature sensing member comprising a foil containing an element A and a thin film piece including an element B which is jointed to at least a part on one surface of the foil, to a measurement object; expose the measurement object and the temperature sensing member to high temperature; cool the measurement object and temperature sensing member; detach the temperature sensing member exposed to the high temperature, from the measurement object; analyze the detached temperature sensing member; determine a concentration Ca of the element A on a surface of the thin film piece; and estimate a temperature T experienced by the measurement object on the basis of a diffusion coefficient Da of the element A in the thin film piece, the concentration Ca of the element A, and a cumulative time t at which the measurement object and temperature sensing member are exposed to the high temperature.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
