To provide a system for facilitating malfunction detection.SOLUTION: A method by a system includes determining a set of test data including a plurality of data points by an operating computing device. The set includes a data series of a first variable and one or more second variables. The one or more second variables depend on the first variable. The set of test data is divided into some groups on the basis of the type of the data series. An interquartile range of each group is determined.
