SOLUTION: A spray coating membrane including rare earth oxide is formed on a base material through suspension plasma spray coating using slurry for spray coating which includes a dispersant and rare earth oxide particles of 1.5-5 μm or less in particle size D50 and less than 1 m/g in BET specific surface area, and contains 10-45 mass% of the rare earth oxide particles.EFFECT: Slurry for spray coating according to the present invention is used and then stable supply can be continued when the slurry is supplied from a slurry supply device to a spray coating gun, without causing fine particles to stick on a piping internal wall and remain in the piping, so that the piping is not blocked.
