The compositions and methods for co-delivery of ribonucleic acid and interferon binding protein are disclosed. The composition comprises mineral coated microparticles having a mineral layer, ribonucleic acid and interferon binding protein. Ribonucleic acid and interferon-binding protein may be adsorbed on the mineral layer, incorporated into the mineral layer, or a combination thereof. Also disclosed are methods of co-delivery of ribonucleic acid and interferon-binding protein and methods of treating inflammatory diseases using mineral-coated microparticles with a mineral layer that provide co-delivery of ribonucleic acid and interferon-binding protein.
