To provide a management device 40 for insects for pollen mating capable of detecting in an early stage, abnormality of activity of insects 60 for properly coping with the abnormality in an early stage.SOLUTION: A management device 40 for insects for pollen mating comprises: an imaging part 42; an insect identification part 442; a determination part 446; and an output part 448. The imaging part 42 images a first region 52 including a hive gate 32 of a nest box 30. The insect identification part 442 identifies an insect 60 on the basis of an image 50 imaged by the imaging part 42. The determination part 446 determines presence/absence of abnormality of activity of the insect 60 identified by the insect identification part 442. The output part 448 outputs information indicating occurrence of the abnormality when abnormality is recognized by the determination part 446. The first region 52 is set in a range where entry/exit of insects 60 to the hive gate 32 can be determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
