PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid operation stop or to shorten operation stopping time in repairing or renewal of a main duct of a sintering machine having multiple ducts.;SOLUTION: A sintering machine 100 includes multiple pallet carriages 2 carried on an endless track K, a wind box 3 placed under the pallet carriages 2, a first main duct 5a exhausting gas inside the wind box, a second main duct 5b, a first downcomer 4a connecting the wind box 3 to the first main duct 5a, and a second downcomer 4b. A repair method of the sintering machine 100 has the steps of cutting off the continuity between the wind box 3 and the second main duct 5b by cutting off the second downcomer 4b, and mounting an additional double valve 7c or a connection pipe 22d for exhausting dust at a cut-off part of the second downcomer 4b.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
