The present invention discloses a regular macroporous metal-organic framework single crystal and a method for preparing the same. In this method, using a three-dimensional structure in which polymer microspheres are stacked as a template, first, 2-methylimidazole and zinc nitrate, which are precursors of MOFs, are deposited inside the three-dimensional template, and then the precursor is formed. The contained three-dimensional template is immersed in a mixed solution of aqueous ammonia and methanol to crystallize, then the three-dimensional template is taken out, immersed in an organic solvent to remove the polymer three-dimensional template, and centrifuged to regulate. A single crystal of sex macromolecular MOFs is obtained. The regular macroporous MOFs single crystal has a basic skeleton of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8, but the structure has a highly regular regular macroporous and the pore size of the macroporous is used. Can be controlled between 50-2000 nm. The method of the present invention is simple and safe, and the resulting product has high purity, complete structure, high mechanical strength and is suitable as an adsorbent or a catalyst for catalytic reaction.
