To provide a harmless thermoelectric element which enables easy and quick preparation of a large quantity, uses a recyclable material in completion of its lifetime, and can collect an energy at a high performance at a low temperature.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric element includes a Sn deposition region and a Si system uneven region out of the Sn deposition region in a front surface of a Si system substrate, and the Si system uneven region has a concave part of a (111) surface facet, a reversed pyramidal hole, and a worm-like groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
