PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calculation method capable of solving a conventional problem that the amount of calculation increases when a structure causing the radio wave shielding loss has a complicated shape.;SOLUTION: There is provided a calculation method of radio wave shielding loss caused in such a case that an electromagnetic wave transmitted from a transmission point to a reception point via radio communication is shielded by a structure positioned in the radio wave propagation path. The calculation method includes the steps of: creating a silhouette figure of a structure viewed from a transmission point or a reception point; calculating a first reception electric field of the incoming wave at a reception point by calculating the shielding loss from the fresnel radius shielding ratio by the structure on each of the multiple incoming waves arriving at the reception point; calculating the contribution level of the first reception electric field of the respective incoming waves to the sum of the first reception electric field of multiple incoming waves; when the contribution is larger than a predetermined threshold value, calculating a second reception electric field of the incoming wave using a second method; and calculating the radio wave shielding loss by the structure on the basis of the first reception electric field and the second reception electric field.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
