PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color prediction method for predicting a color, obtained by overprinting of ink of multiple colors (especially, multiple colors including feature), more accurately than before.;SOLUTION: On the basis of a first correction point P1 corresponding to the index of reflection in a state where object ink is printed on transparent ink, and a second correction point P2 corresponding to the index of reflection in a state where object ink is printed on a backing material printed with black ink, a third correction point P3 corresponding to the index of reflection in a state where object ink is solid painted on the background of average reflectance is obtained. On the basis of the third correction point P3 and a fourth correction point P4 corresponding to the index of reflection in a state where the object ink is painted on the backing material, the index of reflection as the prediction value of a color corresponding to the index of reflection of entire background is obtained.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
