PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for fatigue testing.SOLUTION: A fatigue testing system 1 comprises a fatigue tester 3 for loading a sample 2 with a random waveform load and a signal generator 5 for generating a control signal C1 which is to be supplied to the fatigue tester 3. The signal generator 5 comprises: a frequency setting unit 12 which temporarily sets a frequency in accordance with an amplitude so that a loading rate (or displacement rate) of the fatigue tester 3 is constant; a correction unit 13 which, with respect to each of a plurality of representative loads (or representative displacements) being representative of a spectrum, corrects at least one of the frequency and the amplitude on the basis of a response to loading the sample 2 with the temporarily set frequency by the fatigue tester 3; a function setting unit 14 which sets a function F1 showing a relation between the frequency and the amplitude, by mutual complementation of pieces of data relating to the plurality of representative loads resulting from the correction; and a signal generation unit 15 which applies the function F1 to the spectrum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
