To provide a method for hydraulically propelling a pipe or a metal bar even in a spring water area, and a hydraulic propulsion machine.SOLUTION: The hydraulic propulsion method for a spring water area comprises the steps of digging a vertical hole at a starting point and a reaching point of bar propulsion, pumping groundwater from the vertical hole using a well point method, installing a hydraulic propulsion machine to propel the bar into the coarse-grained soil at a bottom of the vertical hole at the starting point, and applying hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pump to the hydraulic propulsion machine to drive the hydraulic propulsion machine to propel the same to the vertical hole at the reaching point while connecting bars. The hydraulic propulsion machine comprises a cylinder containing a piston, a rod connected to the piston, a pusher attached to the tip of the rod and abutting against the end of the bar, a frame for mounting the cylinder, a band for fastening the cylinder to the frame, an H steel fixed perpendicularly to the end of the frame, and a brace fixed to right and left side walls and the H steel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
