The present invention relates to an aerosol generating apparatus, a cartridge, and an electronic cigarette. The aerosol generating apparatus of the present invention comprises: a housing having a cavity; a mouthpiece provided at one end of a housing; a liquid storage unit having an outlet; and an aerosol passage. The mouthpiece has a plunger and an insertion end, wherein the plunger is inserted into the liquid storage unit, and the aerosol passage communicates with the mouthpiece. In a first state, the insertion end of the mouthpiece is in contact with an outer wall of the liquid storage unit to close the aerosol passage, and the plunger is in contact with the outlet to prevent the fluid in the liquid storage unit from being leaked out of the outlet. In a second state, the insertion end of the mouthpiece is separated from the outer wall of the liquid storage unit to open the aerosol passage, and the plunger and the outlet are separated to allow the fluid in the liquid storage unit to be discharged from the outlet. The aerosol generating apparatus of the present invention can prevent liquid in a liquid storage cavity from being leaked by separation from contact of the plunger and the outlet. Also, the control for the atomization amount of fraction and fluid of an electronic cigarette is realized, such that a user can be more safely or conveniently inhale the electronic cigarette, thereby providing an excellent smoking experience.
