PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic information storage medium, an IC card, a method for confirming data abnormality, and a program for confirming data abnormality capable of coping with a fault utilization attack with consumption of minimum memory resources.SOLUTION: When regular data is stored in a stack area, a virtual machine stores redundant data for determining abnormality of the regular data, in a redundant data storage area other than the stack area, and sets a stored flag, which indicates that the redundant data is stored, in a flag setting area.
