In some embodiments, the present invention provides a typical creative system. It may include executable program code and a computer processor. When this computer processor executes a specific program code, it receives asset-specific historical data and asset-specific current energy consumption data from a collection of energy-consuming physical assets from a demand instrument, a sensor, or both of them. For each corresponding physical asset category, the action of determining the frequency of each corresponding failure and the average severity of each response for each failure, and for each corresponding physical asset category, the action of determining the adjusted failure loss value for each physical asset. And, for each corresponding physical asset category, the action of determining the corresponding average current energy consumption value for each physical asset, the action of associating each corresponding energy consumption place with a specific physical asset category, and the use-based failure of the corresponding energy consumption place. Based on the premium value, it is configured to perform an action to generate an electronic warning configured to affect the location-specific level of energy use of at least one energy-consuming physical asset.
