PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lift ore collected at a bottom of water smoothly to the water surface even when using a pump with a high discharge pressure in an ore lifting system.;SOLUTION: An ore lifting system according to one embodiment comprises a pump, an ore recovery unit, an outward pipe extending from the pump to the bottom of water, a return pipe extending from the bottom of water to the ore recovery unit, and an ore feeding device for feeding ore collected at the bottom of water into the return pipe. The ore feeding device includes a sealed container shielded from external water. The sealed container includes an ore storage space for storing the ore, and an ore feeding space that communicates with the outward pipe and the return pipe.
