PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall detection device capable of detecting a fall of a detection target such as a rubber cone with a simple structure and without the need of a power source, and a monitoring system provided with the fall detection device.;SOLUTION: A fall detection device is provided with a switch mechanism 11 that wirelessly transmits a fall detection signal by a pressing operation or a pressing release operation of a movable member 111, an operating member 12 provided with an operating unit 122 that is provided rotatably about a support shaft 121 and presses or releases the pressing of the movable member 111, and an elastic member that urges a grounding portion 123 of the operating member 12 in a direction to protrude downward.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
