To provide a program which calculates an approximate value of a real root to be found, when a real number and two or more natural numbers are given, in calculating an approximate value of a real root of the real number with the natural numbers as exponents, by repeating a simple arithmetic operation using the real number and the natural numbers, and candidate numeric values.SOLUTION: A power having an initial value as a base and two or more given natural numbers as exponents, is subtracted from a given real number to obtain a difference. Next, the difference is multiplied by the initial value to obtain a product. Then, the product is divided by the real number to obtain a quotient. Further, the quotient is divided by the natural number to obtain a quotient. Then, the quotient is added to the initial value to obtain a sum. Further, the same arithmetic operation is conducted by using the sum instead of the initial value, and subsequently, this is repeated in order to obtain an approximate value of a real root to be determined. When other calculation means stated in the present application is used in combination, the calculation is conducted in nineteen cycles at maximum in all cases, when an allowable number of digits is 12.SELECTED DRAWING: None
