PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for properly controlling concentrations and a blending ratio of an initial sludge and an excess sludge, which flow in into a mixed sludge storage tank by using an existing apparatus.SOLUTION: Concentrations C1 and C2 and supply flow rates Q1 and Q2 of an initial concentrated sludge and an excess concentrated sludge, which flow into a mixed sludge storage tank 6 are temporally measured, a blending ratio ε of the mixed sludge in the mixed sludge storage tank 6 is estimated, this estimated blending ratio ε and a concentration C3 of the mixed sludge and a target blending ratio εo and a target concentration Co are compared, and supply flow rates of the initial sludge and the excess sludge are controlled by the respective concentrated sludge supply pumps 11 and 16 such that the estimated blending ratio ε and the concentration C3 of the mixed sludge approach the target blending ratio εo and the target concentration Co.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
