Provided is an automatic residual chlorine analyzer with improved maintenance efficiency as compared with the prior art. The residual chlorine automatic analyzer 1 is installed in the measurement cell 11 for measuring the residual chlorine concentration in the liquid to be analyzed, and chlorine for removing biological obstacles adhering to the measurement cell 11 on the upstream side of the measurement cell. A chlorine generating section C that intermittently generates chlorine is provided.
