To display only an underwater actual object.SOLUTION: A noise reduction device processes a reception image from an underwater image sonar of a cross-fan beam system in which a plurality of wave transmission elements and a plurality of wave reception elements cross at 90° relative to each other and are mounted as a linear array, and then outputs a display image to be displayed on a display. The reception image is composed of a plurality of pixels in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal to each other. The noise reduction device has two-dimensional noise average processing means to remove, from the reception image, first direction noise and second direction noise orthogonal to each other, generated due to at least one of vibration between the plurality of wave transmission elements, vibration between the plurality of wave reception elements, and the case of leakage of electromagnetic induction noise into a wiring connecting the plurality of wave transmission elements and the plurality of wave reception elements with an electrical circuit, and then to output the display image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
