To provide a method of comparing the magnitude of water surface tension, which can be implemented by anybody to determine water surface tension to his/her satisfaction.SOLUTION: A method disclosed herein comprises: pouring the same amount of tap water and comparison measurement water into two transparent glasses; putting a sugar cube into each glass; and visually determining difference in solubility to determine the magnitude of surface tension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
