PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify mucormycosis markers and develop a tool and method for quickly diagnosing and testing for mucormycosis.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method of acquiring mucormycosis diagnostic data, which involves measuring, in a biological sample of a subject; (i) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence of the sequence number 2, (ii) a Rhizopus fungus-derived protein consisting of an amino acid sequence of the sequence number 2 with one or more substituted, added, inserted, and/or lost amino acids; or (iii) a protein coded by a Rhizopus fungus-derived nucleic acid molecule which hybridizes with a nucleic acid molecule consisting of a base sequence of the sequence number 1 under stringent conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
