Methods and equipment for thermal hydrolysis of organic matter and total energy recovery at steady state

A method for the steady-state thermal hydrolysis of organic matter with two steam explosions and total energy recovery, at a minimum: 1) feeding stage, stepwise pressurization and 2) the first stage of hydrolysis by continuous steam explosion operation with sequential injection and 2) generation of medium pressure level steam and thermal reaction. 3) The second stage of hydrolysis consisting of a steam explosion and the production of low pressure steam. Equipment for performing the method, comprising: a stepwise pressurizing pump, a fluid-steam mixer, a valve, a mixer, a pressure reducing element, a tank, piping and an instrumentation control system.
