PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual base host, a method for controlling the virtual base host, a virtual base host program, and a communication system that can appropriately allocate a GPU resource with an appropriate size.SOLUTION: A virtual base host 30 comprises: a virtual machine 32; a GPU resource 31 allocated to the virtual machine 32; and a hypervisor 33 for changing the size of the GPU resource 31 if it is notified of a size change request for the GPU resource 31 by the virtual machine 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
