Flexure pivot, flexure pivot system and method of manufacture

A flex pivot is disclosed. The flexure pivot includes a first flexure support member, a second flexure support member rotatably coupled to the first flexure support member for relative rotation about the first axis, and a relative flexure about the second axis. A third flexure support member rotatably coupled to the second flexure support member for rotation may be included. Further, the flexure pivot can include a plurality of cross blade flexures that rotatably couple the flexure support members to one another. Each cross blade flexure may include first and second flexible blade units having flexible blades arranged in a crossed configuration. The flexible blade unit includes blade supports located at opposite ends of the flexible blade and may facilitate coupling the flexible blade unit to a flexure support member. The flexible blade and blade support of each flexible blade unit can form a monolithic structure.
