PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device for submerged pump capable of suppressing enlargement of the device.SOLUTION: A valve device 8 (valve device for submerged pump) comprises: a valve body 86 which is provided within a flow channel 8a in a movable manner and abutted to a valve seat 821, thereby closing the flow channel 8a; a diaphragm 83 including a first deformation part 831 forming a wall of a first chamber 88a in which an encapsulation liquid 89 is encapsulated, and a second deformation part 832 forming a wall of a second chamber 88b; and a partition member 851 including a communication part 851a communicating the first chamber 88a and the second chamber 88b in such a manner that the encapsulation liquid 89 can pass therebetween. In the diaphragm 83, the first deformation part 831 is pushed and deformed in a direction in which a fluid flows, by the fluid inside of the flow channel 8a, such that the encapsulation liquid 89 in the first chamber 88a flows through the communication part 851a into the second chamber 88b, and the second deformation part 832 is deformed, such that the valve body 86 is guided to the valve seat 821.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
