PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thyristor type automatic voltage regulator capable of correcting a three-phase unbalanced voltage of a distribution line, and an automatic voltage regulation method therefor.SOLUTION: An electric signal for controlling a thyristor type tap switcher 3 is made individual for each phase, and voltage regulation is performed individually for each phase, thereby correcting a three-phase unbalanced voltage of a distribution line. A three-phase voltage is acquired by a VT 4 for secondary voltage acquisition, and a wu phase is connected to a median value of each phase of the three-phase unbalanced voltage, thereby improving regulation effects of an unbalance factor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
