PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the electric field of a linear resonator in a short time.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a linear resonator automatic electric field measurement device 100 which measures the distribution of electric fields in order to adjust the distribution of electric fields in a cavity 12 of a linear resonator 10, comprises: a disturbing body 115 made from a dielectric substance, for sequentially stopping and moving in the axial direction of the linear resonator 10 along a passage to be accelerated in the linear resonator 10; a movement drive unit 120 for driving the movement of the disturbing body 115; and a measurement unit 110 for measuring an electric field in the linear resonator 10 for each measurement position of the disturbing body 115. The linear resonator automatic electric field measurement device 100 may further include a computation control unit 130 for having measurement positions of the disturbing body 115 and measurement by the measurement unit 110 coordinated, and deriving on the basis of a measurement result the dependency of the characteristic of an electric field in the object area on the position of the disturbing body 115.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
