PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamping machine having a function capable of adjusting a gap between a workpiece surface to be stamped and a stylus.SOLUTION: This stamping machine is characterized in that a machining head and a stylus are provided so as to be freely movable in X, Y and Z axes, two light sources that obliquely apply inspection light as a prescribed inclining angle toward a standard punching position before stylus tip are mounted to one side in the X and Y axis directions around the machining head, the inspection light from the light sources draws projection patterns on a workpiece surface to be punched, the projection patterns irradiated with light from at least one light source include a pattern having a length parallel to the X axis, the projection patterns irradiated with light from the other light source include a pattern having a length parallel to the Y axis, and the projection patterns are stacked on a center when the workpiece surface to be punched is aligned with the standard punching position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
