PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and program for generating a generalization hierarchical tree capable of reducing information loss.SOLUTION: A generation device 1 comprises: a selection unit 11 for selecting a second attribute having the largest correlation with respect to a first attribute included in a data set constituted of a plurality of attributes; a first generation unit 12 for generating nodes of the lowest hierarchy where the number of records included in each value area obtained by sorting values of the first attribute falls into a predetermined range, among records where the second attribute is a specific value area; and a second generation unit 13 for integrating nodes of lower hierarchies and generating nodes of the highest hierarchy, the number of which is less than that of the nodes of lower hierarchies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
