PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event notification system, an electronic timepiece and an event notification method with which it is possible to prevent troublesomeness due to frequent actions and quickly report the occurrence of the latest event.SOLUTION: The event notification system comprises: an electronic apparatus having an event occurrence information notification unit for notifying event occurrence information indicating that an event has occurred to an external apparatus; and an electronic timepiece having an event occurrence information reception unit for receiving at least one or more pieces of the event occurrence information from the electronic apparatus, an inquiry unit for making an inquiry relating to the received event occurrence information to the electronic apparatus in order from the latest event to older events, and an action execution unit for executing an action on the basis of the need for action obtained from the inquiry result, the timepiece limiting the execution of duplicate actions in a given case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
