PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent having excellent adsorptivity on harmful vapor phase substance, such as malodorous substance, present in a gas phase and an application product thereof.SOLUTION: A an adsorbent for the removal of harmful vapor phase substance comprises a composition comprising a composite of zeolite and hydrotalcite-like compound. Use of the adsorbent, or a harmful vapor phase substance removal material prepared by immobilizing the adsorbent to a support allows harmful vapor phase substance to be adsorbed and removed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
