PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a risk of failure of a device for adjusting length of a seat cushion and obtain high-class usability.SOLUTION: A device that is disposed on a seat bottom surface of a seat cushion to adjust the length of the seat cushion by moving the seat cushion in the backward/forward direction includes an actuator that is coupled to a support section provided integrally with the seat bottom surface and an adjustment member mounted to the support section to enable displacement and slidably fitted to the seat bottom surface and that displaces the adjustment member with respect to the support section. The actuator includes an electric power driving section, a reduction gear, and a flexible spindle provided in a spindle drive of a motion conversion mechanism which is provided at an approximately central portion in a direction orthogonal to the backward/forward direction in the device and converts rotational motion of the reduction gear to linear displacement between the adjustment member and the support section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
