PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for aerosol can canopy that is not only excellent in processability but also excellent in pressure resistance.SOLUTION: Said steel sheet is obtained by subjecting a steel slab preferably containing, in mass%, C:0.001 to 0.10%, Si:0.001 to 0.05%, Mn:0.30 to 0.70%, P:0.001 to 0.05%, S:0.001 to 0.05%, Al:0.01 to 0.10% and N:0.001 to 0.008% to hot rolling, cold rolling, recrystallization annealing, followed by temper rolling to make a steel sheet having a sheet thickness t in a range of 0.30 to 0.38 mm, a n value of 0.165 or more, and preferably a yield stress YS of 200 to 350 MPa, and in which the yield stress YS (MPa), the plate thickness t (mm) and the n value satisfy YS × t× n value ≥ 4.70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
