PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-sub type floating body which reduces a load during stormy weather while inhibiting relative movement between floating bodies during good weather, and to provide a connection method of the semi-sub type floating body.SOLUTION: A semi-sub type floating body 1 includes: a lower hull 11 disposed in water; an upper hull 12 disposed on water; columns 13 connecting the lower hull 11 with the upper hull 12; elastic bodies 2 disposed on a side surface of the upper hull 12; a fixed pulley block 3 disposed on the upper hull 12; a movable pulley block 5 connected with the fixed pully block 3 through a cable 4; a transfer device 6 which transfers the movable pully block 5 to the semi-sub type floating body that is a connection object; and a winch 7 which adjusts a length of the cable 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
