The present invention pertains to a reagent kit for detecting a biofilm in a test tissue, the reagent kit comprising: (a) a pretreatment solution containing at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of a nonionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, and a cationic surfactant; (b) a staining solution containing a dye; and (c) a decolorizing solution containing at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of a nonionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, and a cationic surfactant, wherein after a membrane is brought into contact with the test tissue, (a) the pretreatment solution, (b) the staining solution, and (c) the decolorizing solution are brought into contact with the contact surface of the membrane in this order.
