PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current flaw detection system and an eddy current flaw detection method capable of suppressing upsizing of a flaw detection probe and increasing a detection sensitivity of defects in four directions.SOLUTION: An eddy current flaw detection system includes: a flaw detection probe 1 including first coils 6a to 6h and second coils 7a to 7g disposed zigzag in two rows; and an eddy current flaw detection device 2. The eddy current flaw detection device 2 selects one as a detection coil from among the second coils 7a to 7g. The eddy current flaw detection system executes a first flaw detection mode for performing in-phase excitation of a first coil at an equal distance from the detection coil as an excitation coil, a second flaw detection mode for performing reversed phase excitation of two first coils at an equal distance from the detection coil as excitation coils, a third flaw detection mode for performing in-phase excitation of one first coil and one second coil at an equal distance from the detection coil as excitation coils, and a fourth flaw detection mode for performing reversed phase excitation of one first coil and one second coil at an equal distance from the detection coil as excitation coils.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
