PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that time required for data transfer for restoring an object from a backup server to an object server becomes long due to restriction of a network band.SOLUTION: When object data of an object and its meta data are respectively pertinent to a first condition, a first object server backs up duplicate data of the data to a backup server, and when the data are pertinent to a second condition, backs up a plurality of fragment data of the data to two or more backup servers. A second object server acquires at least one of the duplicate data and the plurality of segment data from the plurality of backup servers, and restores the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
