PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device, a radar receiver, a signal processing method, and a program with which it is possible to detect by a simpler process the position of a movable detection object.SOLUTION: The signal processing device according to an embodiment includes a filter processing unit, a low resolution data generation unit, and a detection processing unit. The filter processing unit smooths first data that indicates signal strength corresponding to a position defined by a first resolution, the data being generated on the basis of a signal outputted by an antenna that receives a reflected wave from a detection object, and generates second data. The low resolution data generation unit generates third data that indicates signal strength corresponding to a position defined by a second resolution lower than the first resolution on the basis of the second data. The detection processing unit detects on the basis of the third data that the detection object exists in a range defined by the second resolution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
