PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purchase trend analysis system capable of accurately analyzing characteristic purchasing tendencies of individual customers, and a coupon issuing system using the same, based on purchase history data for each customer.SOLUTION: A purchasing trend analysis system associates a customer identifier of the customer with purchase information each other, when sales are done to a customer for each store, and stores in the purchase information database 22. In order to analyze the purchase trend, the purchase information accumulated in the purchase information database 22 for each customer identifier, purchase commodity axis purchase information obtained by classifying for each product category, shop distance axis purchase information classified by the distance between the shop and the place of residence of the customer and visiting day for each week and time axis purchase information classified according to visiting day for each week and time zone are created, and from these pieces of information, purchasing trends are analyzed for each customer.
