PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical system for confirming an advertising effect.SOLUTION: An advertising effect confirmation apparatus includes: an advertisement data storage unit 17 which stores advertisement data formed by associating customer identification information for identifying a user of a credit card and commodity identification information for identifying a commodity to be advertised; and a purchase state confirmation unit 16 which compares the advertisement data, the customer identification information and settlement information acquired from a card settlement management server 22, and purchase data acquired from a purchase history management server 42 in a store, to confirm a purchase state of the commodity to be advertised which is to be purchased by a credit card user. An advertising effect can be confirmed only by acquiring necessary data from the card settlement management server 22 and the purchase history management server 42, without using a credit card number for identifying a commodity purchaser or requiring a purchaser of a commodity to input information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
