PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to commercialize a transmitter that can radiate a primary magnetic field toward a detection object underground pipe intensively in a small spot, and to allow a receiver to precisely detect the underground pipe.SOLUTION: A transmitter 1 of an underground pipe detection device comprises an induction coil 2 including two coils 2A and 2B whose output is reverse polarity from each other. The two coils 2A, 2B are arranged in parallel with a prescribed interval in a vertical direction in the posture of their axial direction being horizontal.
