The present invention relates to a box manufacturing apparatus which simplifies the structure and is capable of manufacturing boxes in various polygonal tubular shapes. The box manufacturing machine (1) includes: a base (13) extended to the front and rear; front and rear stoppers (14, 15) arranged on the front and rear to be spaced apart; and a pair of left and right body pressing members (43) capable of moving left and right. The box body has a body unit in an open tubular shape. Lower front flaps are bent to the rear side from the body unit while the lower rear flaps are bent to the front side from the body unit. To arrange the body unit between the front and rear stoppers (14, 15), the lower front and rear flaps are arranged on the base (13). The box manufacturing apparatus (1) makes the left and right body pressing members (43) press the body unit from left and right to extend the body unit to the front and rear, presses the front part of the body unit against the front stopper (15), and keeps a neat shape of the body unit by making the rear part of the body unit come in contact with the rear stopper (14).
