PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fairing with which production costs can be reduced.SOLUTION: A fairing 100 is fitted to an end of a rocket 200 and includes: a first fairing piece 100a and a second fairing piece 100b which separate and open in the direction orthogonal to an advancing direction of the rocket 200. On a bonding surface of the first fairing piece 100a and the second fairing piece 100b, there are arranged a first separation mechanism 11 and a second separation mechanism 12. The second separation mechanism 12 is higher in simultaneity of operation than the first separation mechanism 11 and is shorter in operation time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
