PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system for a lifting device capable of precisely giving a notification of an abnormality of the lifting device.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system 1 has a control microcomputer 20, which can switch between a normal state capable of outputting an abnormal signal and a maintenance state in which the output of an abnormal signal is inhibited, and a maintenance switch 210 switching the control microcomputer 20 between the normal state and the maintenance state. The remote monitoring system includes an elevator 2 which can output a signal for the normal state and a signal for the maintenance state from the control microcomputer 20, a monitoring terminal 3 connected to the control microcomputer 20, and a portable terminal 4 for a technical person which can be connected to the monitoring terminal 3. The monitoring terminal 3 notifies the portable terminal 4 for a technical person that a predetermined number of normal operations are performed by the elevator 2 under a condition that it is recognized that the elevator is in the maintenance state based on a signal from the control microcomputer 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
