The powder load reducer (10) installed in front of the dry vacuum pump (3) temporarily receives the powder from the exhaust pipe (7) and temporarily stores it. It is possible to prevent adverse effects caused by a large amount of powder entering the dry vacuum pump (3) at once. The powder received inside the powder load reducing device (10) temporarily collects on the powder receiving surface (18) at the bottom thereof. The powder accumulated on the powder receiving surface (18) is carried by the swirling gas flow (A) generated inside by evacuation by the dry vacuum pump (3) and discharged from the container outlet (16). No powder is accumulated inside the powder load reducing device (10). There is no need for maintenance work to remove the powder accumulated inside on a regular basis.
