To provide a tunnel face safety monitoring system in which, using the whole surface of the cutting face as one measurement surface, a state of displacement of the measurement surface is detected with the accuracy to the degree of predicting the collapse of the cutting face in real time.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a tunnel face safety monitoring system in which a state of a face 15 of a tunnel 10 to be excavated is monitored. This system includes: vibration visualization radars 21, 22 which are arranged at positions where the whole cutting face is included in an irradiation range of measurement beams; and a displacement detection server which detects displacement of the whole area of the cutting face from the result of measuring the reflection beam against the measurement beam from the cutting face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
