The self-propelled pathogen detection device (10) according to the present disclosure indicates a housing, a detection unit (16) for detecting a pathogen, a moving mechanism (12) for moving the housing, and a current position of the housing in space. A position acquisition unit (13) for acquiring position information and a target area in the space are determined based on the flow line information of a person in the space, and the housing is moved so as to move within the target area based on the position information.
