PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable, an optical fiber cable identification system, and an optical fiber cable identification method that, when a prescribed optical fiber is removed from a plurality of optical fiber cables in a laid state, can enhance discriminability of the optical fiber cable the removal of which is planned.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable comprises an optical fiber 1 for communication and an external coat 2 made from insulation material and provided on the side periphery of the optical fiber. A pair of power supply lines 4, 5 for supplying power to a light-emitting element when a socket including the light-emitting element is attached is provided on the side periphery of the external coat. The pair of power supply lines comprises conductors 4a, 5a and insulation layers 4b, 5b made from insulation material and provided on the side periphery of the conductors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
